You step into Honest Al's Spaceship Emporium.  A jovial, but slightly slimey, individual steps up and shakes your hand.  "Welcome to Honest Al's, I am Honest Al.  What kid of ship are you looking for today."  After a slight pause that doesn't give you enough time to answer, he continues. "I know, you look like someone that needs a reliable ship for exploring the far reaches of the galaxy.  And I have just the thing for you over here."

He points to a older looking vessel, that looks freshly painted.  "This is a Scout.  She is intended for exploration, survey, and courier duties, with many in service throughout known space. The wedge-shaped scout is a common sight on the frontier. Many are in the hands of former members of the Scout Service. The Type S is one of the most venerable designs in the Imperium, and is remarkably easy to maintain and repair.  I can guarantee that she will fit your needs perfectly."      

Introducing our first ship for the Traveller roleplaying system. This ship was designed on the blueprints from the Traveller book for a Scout, Type S. This ship has 1" grid lines to work with most miniatures in the 1", 25mm and 28mm scales. And the multiple decks have a pin that holds them together to show where they go in relation to each other and for easier transport. They are made of 1/8" thick wood.

The Scout, Type S measures 20" long by 11" wide (51 cm x 28 cm). It also has an upper turret and a lower deck .
